We're Back!
Dive Into Our Social-Media Escape Journey!
We decided to escape social-media to become closer as a family. We have had many adventures, good times, bad times, but ultimately, its time TOGETHER! Asher and Aurora have grown so much over this time and watching them grow without the use of social-media has truly been a blessing!
Aurora kicks ass on ABC Mouse, she is learing how to use a computer while also getting smarter, she is learning her alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes, and placements. Her spunky personality shines through above everything else. She is still very "my way or no way" and we are working on her bossiness and turning in into leadership skills.
Asher's journey has been a bit more difficult lately. As you know, Asher has ADHD, ODD, and developed Trichtilomania (hair pulling disorder). He had to go to Southwood (a mental hospital) recently for medication management and because of his violent outbursts. Asher hit me for the first time two weeks ago out of anger and he MEANT it. I have also been worried about his alone time with his sister and the cats. He asked me a very innapropriate question as well about human blood, cat blood, and if they taste the same. After talking with my therapist and his, his therapist decided that he needed to be hospitalized because "he was a danger to himself and others". After 8 days, med management, and a new diagnosis, the futue looks so BRIGHT!
Adam and I have also become closer! Our communication has never been better which has made us an even better married couple! While we still have normal fights and arguments that all couples have, we have been able to see each others perspectives better than ever! Adam still works in the for Consol and I am still a saya-at-home-mom trying to find graphic design work onlne. Adam's health has been pretty good with mild things here and there that we are working on. My health is also pretty much the same except for anothe new diagnosis.r
