Where to Begin?

There are so many places I could start. While confusing, I will do my best to inform you guys on what has been going on!
Family Time is Together Time
Since leaving social media we have definitely been focusing on friends and memorable places to visit. We have gotten rid of a few friends and kept a few friends.
Our family wants to live a simple, quiet life that is drama free and that also involves inclusion in our entire family. We want to be around people where we are accepted unconditionally because that is what we have to give back as a family unit.

We have been to quite a few new places and have had memorable family experiences. From simply enjoying eachother more at home, device free, to going to see a REAL circus!
We have also been on a very long mental health journey as well. We are trying to get our (Angie and Adam) mentla health together to help our children's (Asher and Aurora) mental health grow as they grow.
Adam and I both know that we're not perfect but we are working hard on our own mental health, getting ourselves "together" the best that we can so that we can be the best parents we can be for our kids. I have been going to therapy weekly and Adam has been doing his best with his job to also commit to therapy. We are currently looking for marriage counceling (not because we are on the verge of divorce) to help our marriage and parenting come together even closer and better than ever!

We have also been helping Asher with his own mental health. Letting him understand what happens with his brain and having him be a part of his medication management is important to us. He might "only" be 8 years old but, I think its important for him to understand how his brain works and WHY he's taking the medication he is taking. Not only for him to adovcate for himself now but also in the future. As most of you know Asher has ADHD, ODD, and Trichotillomania (hair pulling disorder). After time has passed and after things have happened Asher has a new diagnosis of Autism Level 2. His meds have changed and we are in the process of getting more and even better services for him!
Aurora might only be 4 years old but, she has her own share of mental health issues that I am noticing. I can see some ADHD in her and I can also see some Autism. She's to young for now to get tested but, when she turns 5 years old we are going to be getting her evaluated and ADOS (autism diagnosis tool) tested.

Overall, I think that we are doing great as a family! Getting closer, working on our mental health, and just trying to live one day at a time. There will always be ups and downs but I know that our family can handle this rollercoaster called life. I just know in my heart that the future is bright for us already!
